تَفَادَى \ avert: to avoid; prevent: His quick thinking averted an accident. dodge: to move suddenly so as to avoid being touched or seen: He dodged behind a tree. escape: to avoid: We hid so as to escape being seen. \ تَفَادَى بِتَنْكيس الرَّأْس \ duck: to move quickly down, so as not to be hit or seen: I ducked my head to get through the low door.
